Mission: To Protect & Serve Arizona Seniors
MAYO vs “The Industry”
MAYO Walk-in Tubs was built to protect Arizona consumers from the predatory nature of this industry's long-time business model. How? By replacing misleading, high-pressure sales tactics with honest business practices rooted in genuine care for our senior community.
Our focus is on improving the quality of your life — not our bottom line. With fair pricing and accurate information up front, you can move forward with confidence.
* Relocating your walk-in bathtub within Arizona carries a fee of $500–$1,000, based on the distance and the specifics of the new installation.
| MAYO | “The Industry” | |
|---|---|---|
| Avg. Cost | Price provided over the phone | N/A |
| Cost | Average 50%–75% less expensive | Walk-in tub: $23k+ · Shower: $14k+ |
| Sales | NO sales people | 2–3 hour in-home sales presentation just to get a price |
| Installation | NO outside contractors. We personally install every walk-in tub and shower we sell. That does two things: we don't pay outside contractors (which saves you money), and 100% of our work is guaranteed for life. | Outsource “ALL” installations |
| Warranty | 100% lifetime warranty | “Limited” warranty |
| Transferable warranty | Warranty is transferable. Selling your home down the road? We'll gladly transfer your walk-in tub warranty to the new homeowners. Moving but staying in Arizona? We'll help relocate your tub to your new residence.* | N/A |
| Discounts | Senior, first responder & military discounts. If you qualify for discounts, you'll know up front — no surprises after the fact. And if you qualify for all three, you receive all three! | N/A |
| Installation time | Walk-in tub installed in ½ a day. If we start at 8:00 AM, your installation is usually finished by lunch — and you can use the tub the very next day. | 1–4 days, depending on company and contractor |
| Install date | Tub installed in less than 3 weeks. At MAYO we under-promise and over-deliver. We guarantee an install date no more than 3 weeks from your purchase — usually less than 2. | Best case: 6–8 weeks from date of purchase |
| Reputation | Recommended by Consumer Affairs. MAYO is highly recommended to Arizona residents by Consumer Affairs for our industry-leading prices and all-inclusive warranty — it's not even close. No sales pitch, quick turnarounds, quality workmanship, and a combined 30 years enhancing senior bathroom safety. | Pay for online rankings |
| Tubs | American-made tubs. We source every walk-in tub from American Tubs in California — the largest manufacturer of walk-in bathtubs in the United States. | China |
| Ownership | Arizona family owned & operated | Out of state |
